2007 NASA Minority Contractor of the Year Award
REDE/Critique, JV, has been honored with the 2007 NASA Minority Contractor of the Year Award, via Johnson Space Center. Sponsored by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, three national awards, the Minority Contractor of the Year, the Minority Subcontractor of the Year, and the Women-Owned Business of the Year are presented during Minority Enterprise Development Week to recognize minority firms who have made outstanding contributions in the technical arena to NASA’s mission.

Aggie 100 - REDE #1 for 2007
Vision. Wisdom. Tenacity.
Those three words are the theme of the third annual Aggie 100. After three years of talking to accomplished Aggie entrepreneurs, getting to know them and asking why they have been successful, these three themes emerged.
This year’s number one company has grown by over 350% each of the last two years. Other companies on the list are decades old. Several entrepreneurs are clearly “serial entrepreneurs” with multiple companies on the list. Still other leaders have tackled the job of setting up shop in a foreign country and are doing quite well. All of these leaders have a clear vision; have displayed the wisdom necessary to turn the dream into reality and the tenacity to stick with it through the ups and downs. It gives us great pride to recognize and celebrate their success.

REDE, Inc. is a Small Business Administration (SBA) approved Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) that is certified as an SBA 8(a) through 2011. We have successfully provided outstanding professional and support services, as well as hands-on expertise in the implementation and management of those services.

Founded in 1998, REDE has successfully won and is providing administrative/clerical and information technology (IT) support services to the Federal Government as a prime contractor and in a subcontract role. REDE’s staff of 150 experienced professionals is knowledgeable and proficient in their respective fields. REDE’s professional team combines proven management and professional practices with innovative approaches and technology, while always concentrating on the unique needs of individual clients.

RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS & HONORS
REDE was a finalist in the ComputerWorld Best Practices in Infrastructure Management Awards Program. Our category was "Security, Compliance and Risk Management". This involved case studies that focused on the essential elements necessary to keep your infrastructure secure, including the policies and best
practices that your organization has implemented to ensure you are in line with necessary standards as well as protected from possible threats. Many thanks to Brian and everyone at DOE Oak Ridge for their excellent work!

REDE/Critique has been awarded the 2007 Johnson Space Center Contractor Safety Forum Excellence Award - Stellar. The award is based upon company OSHA safety data, and participation and support activity level in the Contractor Affairs Safety Committee and the Contractor Safety Forum, and safety "Best Practices". The presentation took place at the Gilruth Center on June 3, 2008.
